Looking for Austin area TR tuner

I'll have current inspection and tags on my GN in a week or so and want to find someone to get this thing in proper kill mode - combo built about two years ago, car has basically sat since I've lived here in Austin for the last two years, ready to start driving this thing around. Went and tried to get it inspected the other day but it wouldn't pass emissions, no cats, gotta do that and then I'll be ready to go. I have a Scanmaster installed, I know it probably needs the tps adjusted, tranny doesn't seem to shift quite correctly at wot, but I can't really go wot because it'll ping above 5psi, etc, several minor tuning issues. Car just needs to be sorted out. Will pay well :smile:

I have a new hotwire kit that needs to be installed and a Propane kit I'd like installed ideally too, to run 20+ psi on 93. There's a short in the current hotwire kit that will pop the fuse every once in a while, but I have a new kit to go in. Car should be 500+ hp.

Good luck, the only two people that worked on our cars are not doing it anymore. It is hard to find someone who knows much about our cars. Wish I could be more help, but hopefully someone will start up a shop.

I live in Leander, I moved out here about a year and a half ago. As for my car I have an 87 T-type of if you mean what is my daily driver it is a Mercedes.

Where are you planning to meet on Saturday? There is a get together in Cedar Park at 183 and 1431 in the Office Depot parking lot. I am the only Turbo Buick there.

Cool, however I was saying that next Saturday I'm going to try to have my GN legal so I can drive it up to College Station and drop it off to get worked on..once I get her back we'll for sure meet up there!

I have a red 06 GTI I could run up there in if I didn't get laughed outta there! Thing's a blast to drive really, turbo 2.0 with a cold air kit and a stage 1 tune - 250hp/300ft lbs :biggrin:
