Looking for Stock Cat Hanger

Looking for a stock cat hanger for an 87 car. I need the origional with rubber still in good shape. Can paint as long as not damaged and origional rubber good. Does anybody know how to get the factory semi tubular flat head rivets that the rubber was connected with?

I you want to use what you have to save a few coins .....go to the exh section of a parts store and get the rubber belted hanger that has a little metal clip on one end and the belted portion alread has holes punched in it. Use the end opposite the metal tab and fold it over and cut to fit.

I drilled the factory rivet out of my stock one and replacd the hanger with the above item used bolts and some large washers on both sides of the hanger and it works great!!

I think the strap was 7 bucks at Auto Zone or Orielys

I ground down the rivets ever so lightly and then drilled them out. By the time I had to remove the rivets, the strap was worn out anyway so there really wasn't any need to be too careful with the rivets. I'm just glad I've got 4 NOS hanger assemblies on the shelf for the TR's I'll be adding to my sons' collection in the future
