projectmoney pit you can get one of the thick walled cardboard tubes from the inside of a roll of carpet and use it to ship the trim piece in. I used those in the past for shipping trim pieces and just made it a point to bubble wrap the part really well.

I checked the trim piece and it is ding and dent free but could use repaint or fine as driver. Have not found shipping tube yet.
