Loose Steering

Anybody know what would cause the steering to not feel stifff like it should be on these cars? Mine seems loose for some reason.

What type of tire are you running?

How many miles are on the car. Does it have the original ball joints and the upper A frame bushing by the downpipe. Recently found the idler arm and center link was shot on my 110,000 mile GN. That made for a sloppy drive

idlers are very well known for bein sloppy on these older gm vehicles. replace it with a quality brand part like moog or something along those lines, also tie rods and the center link like to go, actually the whole front end on these cars likes to loosen up its usually one or two parts at a time.
