I took a lot of pictures as I disassembled my engine on the stand so I would have a reference when I came time to put it back together. Well the time is here and I have no pictures. Somehow they got erased. 5 months have gone by so my memory is useless at this point.
BTW, I have never worked on one of these engines before so forgive the newbiness of this post. I want to do it right.
I have searched and searched on the web and can't find a step by step process for putting this back together.
I'm ok with the intake on up but a little foggy on the front of the engine. Maybe if someone had a good thread on a step by step timing chain replacement that would help me along.
Also any special steps on TQ specs or bolts that go in a water jacket etc.
My timing chain is too loose so 5 under so I'm going 10 under and degreeing the cam back in the next day or so. Ordering push rods today so I have a little time but want to get going on this.
Any help would be appreciated.
