Ok, I'm getting frustrated now. Cranked the car up this morning and let it run for about 20 minutes making sure I didn't have any leaks from when I replaced the valve cover gaskets. No problems. Get home this evening and gonna drive the car some before loading it on the trailer for the race this weekend. Let it start to warm up and something starts to sound a little funny, (NOT KNOCKING), So I start to check stuff out. Look in the car and oil pressure is on 0.
I shut the car off and start looking. I took the oil filter off and cut it open and don't see any signs of a spun bearing. Put another oil filter back on and took the line off the turbo and put a bag on it. Spun the engine for about 2 minutes and Nothing. BUT here's what's puzzling me. Took the new oil filter off and it's full of oil. I took the oil cooler lines loose and oil is getting back to the engine. I "think" this should rule out pick up tube, bad oil pump, and blockage in the cooler or lines.
What else could it be to get oil from the pan to the engine, but not to the gauge or the turbo?
TIA
