Beamer, the ECM pocket is where the car's computer is stored. It's on the passenger side to the right of your feet as you are sitting in the front seat. It is plastic and consists of 3 pieces - kick panel, ECM pocket and cover. A padded gauge surround is the removable part of the dash pad that surrounds your speedo/gauges. It is the same vinyl covered foam material as the dash pad. I'll send pics of the upper grille to your email.
