Low boost problem?

finialy got to open the buick up, and I was wondering, my boost is supposed to be around 11-12psi correct?

Im only boosting 7-8psi, What is the stock boost level for the hotairs?

Also, Im going to up it to around 13-15psi of boost. Do you think I can do this with no problem?

It had a Kenne Bell Chip in it, And I was wondering. Can a chip give you more boost?

If so then that could be why the chip was making it run richer.

They gy said it was set at around 15psi before I got it, what should I do?

look to see if the vacuum lines are going to the right place and see if the wastegate sendor is good.

If the boost continues to drop, make sure your cat is not clogged.

I had the exact same situation as Bryan C. My CAT became plugged up and eventually the car would not boost at all. I now keep my new CAT in the trunk. Brad
