We installed a new intake last night, and today I drove the car and the fan was on the whole time, low speed I believe. Coolant was barely ever over 160, and my manual switch was off. If I hit the switch, the fan would go to high speed. I'm thinking one of the sensors on the intake is bad. But which one? It shuts off when I shut the car off. Car is running too cold with this on all the time. Help please

No it's not a feature of the Extender.

Maybe you have the high speed fan turn on wire accidentally being pinched to ground..?

Unplug the A/C pressure switch and see if it goes off.

Make sure the A/C and Def. are off too. :)

I unplugged the A/C press. switch, still ran. That switch turns on the high speed fan, mines running low speed. Maybe the sensor is bad? Is it the one with the single green wire? No wires were pinched.

The extender chips run the low speed fan above 155 degrees. It helps keep the engine compartment cooler.

It can be changed if you want it.

No, that one that runs the fan in high speed mode at very high coolant temps. The ECM controls the low speed fan (unless there's a problem with wiring or the relay).

According to the manual the A/C switch also runs the low speed fan at certain pressures.

If it has 3 wires it very well could. :)

I'd check the temps. closely to see if it is the chip turning on the fan.

Check the wiring from the ECM to the Fan relay too.

Yup sure could be, welded contacts.

I'd take the plug off the thing and measure the contact resistance.

Should be an open with no power.
