Well, originally I had a non d5 t.c. in my car. It stall to about 1700 with 2 psi. I recently bought a used d5 locally (from one of our vendors). Was told that it worked fine when removed from the car. After installing it, I did a couple quick tests on some back roads, and got 2100 at about 1psi (could have gone a lil higher, was just checking to see if it was better). This past weekend I went to the track, temps around 90-95, and humid if that matters. Well, all I could get was about 1800 at 4psi!! and slow, non-spinning 60's best of 2.3. Is this converter shot, or could there be a different problem?? Please help, I'm getting a bit frustrated... I was hoping for my first good year at the track with this car!!
