lower coolant hose

I went to the auto parts store to get a lower coolant hose for my Gn and I was sold gates pn 21211. Looks just like the original except it is longer. I installed it but it does not fit correctly. It comes too close to the turbo for me. Is there any other brands or is the one everyone uses. It only cost me 15 dollars. Why does postons charge over 30 dollars?

I got mine from Kirbans, paid 25 fit great, just like orgianl! Check them oput

Can you modify the hose? maybe make a small cut??

I got my upper and lower hoses from advance auto parts, fit was good, no problems.

I could cut it but don't want to be bothered. I will return it and order from Kirbans. Hate ordering because it takes time to ship.
