For those using the Vette type 2 p/s pump, and having pulley/pressure line fitting interference issues, here's how we did it.....
Edelman pt # 39106 is a return line tube/hose fitting meant to go in the low psi side of the gearbox.
We took the tube and cut off the bulge on the end, squared it off, cleaned the whiskers out.
We then took a -6 AN fitting that has 3/8 NPT male threads on it, chucked it up, cut off the threaded end, drilled it to about 3/16" deep w/ a 3/8 drill.
We use a steel -6 AN cap to protect the fitting threads, while in the lathe.
The pipe has a coating on it, that has to be sanded off, so the weld, {we use tig} Will be clean.
WALA! Plenty of pulley clearance, and the fitting faces out toward the inner fender.
Ours are plumbed to the hydraboost w/ PTFE hose.
If you are thinking to solve the issue by pulling the pulley out a "RCH", forget it..You'll have a belt noise. {GM has a TSB on the issue.} The pulley goes on flush.
