LT1 MAF confusion

Just trying to clear up some confusion on LT1 MAF sensors. When it is talked about, most refer to the one on the 96 Chev Impalla SS. GM part# 25180303 or Delco # 213-352
If I go to the delco page http://www.acdelco.com/html/catalog/index_list.htm
and cross reference #213-352 I get a list of 239 matches. Will any of these work, or is the Impalla MAF specific to this application?

(I'm doing the Translator Plus conversion)

There are a number of different versions of that MAF.
As long as the number references the same your fine.

So long as it traces back to the LT1 your fine.

Just when I thought I was getting things clear

I have been trying to get a 3" LT1 MAF, and when I call a salvage yard they say they don't have a MAF for a 96 Impalla, so I ask can the cross reference that to another vehicle, and they say ???
A lot of different vehicles and engine sizes on that cross reference list. I'm still a little confused... Do all the MAF's on the Delco list (above) work, or just the LT1 engine related ones? I know of a guy that is running one off a Pontiac Transport Montana???

Camaro LT1 MAF's are 3.5" so dont get one of them. If the Pontiac one is 3" it will probably work. Check with TurboBob

I talked to Bob and he replied with:

"When the translator was developed I had a bunch of
Impala MAFs around so that's how things were spec'd.

I'm sure the delco xref is correct. I have had a little
feedback over the years of successful use of "Lumina" MAFs
and others. Since I have not tested them myself I was
hoping that folks would reply to the bulletin board popst...."

Nobody seems to have a definite answer to my question yet. So
to clear up any future confusion... (mostly mine ) I suggest that it would be helpful if anybody that has gone to the Trans+ setup and LT1 MAF, to please state the vehicle that you got your MAF off of (That is of course if you didn't buy it new) so we can build up a cross reference library of LT1 style MAF's donor vehicles that actually work.
