lt1 sensor and translator

how do i install a lt1 sensor and translator the factory maf plug is not the same so what do i need to do and whats the black and white wire on the translator for

i plan to do this as well, but am also unsure of the process. any help would be great. is there a how-to on this site? i didn't find one..
