LT1 starter

just got my new LT1 starter from turbobuicks.com for $125.00 and it is made in china-not a ac/delco piece.HTH

Despite the fact it is made in China my TBs starter works well. I've only had it for a couple months though... If and when it does go I'm sure it will pass as a core for a "real" reman LT1 starter.

I don't think Mike ever said they were AC Delco. My Delco Remy LT1 starter was made in Japan.

What does it really matter? All he claimed was that it was B/N not B/N from the USA.

I stuck a local remaned unit on my car... and bingo! Nice mod... holding up 8.5 lbs to the block while laying on your back beats 18.5!
