I got the stock T-type rims, will the M/T 255/60/15 tires be ok, I figure it should have no problems hooking, just curious if there is a big difference between the 275 vs. 255. I know the 275 is wider, but will it help more?

255 or 275 both good tires on stock wheels , both on back order though.;)

Joe, With your car right now, you'll be fine...

Learn how to drive and luanch the car, youll do fine with the bigger turbo too.

I like mine. They'll blow off too if your too aggressive. Don't have too much faith in them. They are better than Nittos though IMO. I got a low 1.7?? on them. Once. Chattering a bit, off the line with 7 psi, 2800 stall. Hey, can't complain, I drove 40 miles to the track and ride was smooth. These are very well made and balanced tires. Hardly any weights had to be added to balance them. Don't try to get sideways with them, probably tear something up.
Way better than Gatorbacks, haha!

Here's the trick- lower the pressure to about 12 psi a the track, and get them hot n' sticky. If you got chatter, the pressure was too high, or they weren't hot enough.

255s on stock rims are fine- 275s need 15x8 so you don't get center crowning.

My car always liked more pressure in the DR's... I found about 19-20 PSI in my ET streets hooked the best...

heres mine on stock t wheels 255/60-15 mt drag radials

opps the other pic is my 6.0 in my 01 chevy truck i didnt mean to put that in there haha

I have the same set up on my 86 GN. Very close to frame & will rub lightly in turns when psi is @ racing pressure. They were my track tires & I would drive to and from the track with those on, about a 7 mile round trip. Only used them on the street a couple times.
P.S.
Does your 01 6.0 liter Knock, mine did all the time. Took back to dealer bunches of times, they said its normal. I was a Chevrolet tech for 21 years & wasnt happy so I traded my Silverado in for a Titan & no more knock. Too bad cuz I was a die hard Chevy guy, not anymore.

no it doesnt knock its out of an 02 hd truck.runs like a scalded dog.its a proven lightning killer  oh and i havent had the rubbing issues but i run mine at 14 psi

They work great, 10.89-123mph. Best 60' with the tires are 1.57 with a 7-8lb launch. I found the best tire pressure to be around 15-16psi.
