I have an old m4 or something like that sitting here and I was wondering if i could just dril it out to the m10 size. Does anyone know the size of the hole in the m10? thanks

One site I googled had this:

TapSize___________________TapDrill
M10 x 1.5__________________8.5mm
M10 x 1.25_________________8.75mm

There are two thread pitches... one is a fine... and the other is a course.

It's around .040".

I've got it written down somewheres.... ;)

Used very accurate pin gauges to measure it too.

Only thing you can try is drilling it out and looking at the spray pattern and then measure the flow amount and your pressure over time.

See if it lines up close enough to an M10 and you like the pattern.

Or just order a few M10's and M15's from McMaster Carr plenty of other stuff they have also like stainless fasteners etc.
