Okay, driving all of two miles home today, and Code 13 popped up, following the car suddenly bogging and running like total crap. WTH? I thought I was done with this mess... MAF reading is well over sixty, even though I can't get the car to run for anything, can't even get it to spin over well in neutral! Pull over, unplug the MAF, start it back up, and well, it idles rough, but at least I can get it to run. Drive it home, looking at the readings. O2 fluctuates like crazy, but everything else seems okay. I now have Code 34, but I can guess why - ;) So, I now have TWO codes relating to the O2 sensor, 13 and 45, and one pertaining to the MAF, 33. I'm going to do the O2 tonight, and I'll seriously look into getting an LT1 MAF and a Translator, and soon!

I guess I'll find out more after I get an O2 sensor, huh?

I'm trying to work out a deal with another board member to buy his used LS1 MAF and Translator - he bought it slightly used and never installed it. I will be in the Pearl Harbor area today getting my CAC card (about time), you free around 1600 or so?

Of course, I'll be NOT driving my TTA, runs for junk with teh MAF plugged in, and it doens't like running cold without it. So if I do get it from you today, I won't know if it'll work until tonight, and then I'd have to get it backto you later on in the week anyhow.

In a rush??? I counted a few spelling/grammar errors not typical of you here pal. CAC cards huh?? At least you haven't had to cancel appointments again, lol. Take care and hope you figure out your woes.

Yeah, I suffer from the "teh" error quite often, usually I catch it... I try not to type like an AOLoser, if I can help it. I should've been a hacker, so I could type "I 4m t3h HAXXOR" or something to that effect.

With my car down for however long it is, I'm enjoying the peppiness of the Toyota 1ZZ-FE in the Vibe, only wish we had shelled out a bit more for the GT version, tht would've came with the more-potent -GE engine, more aggressive cam and variable valve lift. Same engine they use on the Lotus Esprit, I think, pretty impressive little bugger.

When the Vibe is truly my daily driver (once it's paid off) the wife said I could toss on a power adder. A remote turbo kit would sure be cool... That or the factory supercharger kit. Drop the car an inch or two, some suspension goodies, eight pounds of boost... "The kids are late for school!!"

so yeah... im leaving for a week try and get with me sometime today if you wanna borrow that maf and fp guage... im buying a prelude here in a few hours

Not sure I can make it today... When do you leave, and how long will you be gone?
