Maf Readings 255 ?

i JUST DID SOME MORE MODS TO MY BUICK I AM STARTING TO GET A MAF READING OF 255 BEFORE THE BEST I COULD GET WAS 230 IT HAS A UNKNOWN STRIP CHIP ALL READINGS LOOK GOOD ON MY SCANNER BUT IS THE 255 maf READING SAFE?

It is the highest value the stock MAF is able to produce. Or more accurately, it's the highest value the ECM can recognize (being an 8 system).
It just means you're moving more air (probably more than 255) with your mods (whatever they were).

If you're reading no more then 255, your fine. The trouble is the scanner can only report to 255, and that's the system's limit. As the ecm tries to read higher then 255, the code breaks down. If you're using DS, you can see the WG duty cycle start to spike, instead of being a relatively constant value.
