Maf sensor testing out of the car?

How do you test a MAF sensor out of the vehicle? Can you do that? My car start then dies.....

You need to check in the car using an oscilloscope. It needs to checked while the vehicle is running using a Hz measurement. It's best that way to see if you have a good pattern or a sporadic signal loss
