Magna Flow on car...tails are junk

well the Muffler man fixed some leaks and straighten things out a bit...he installed a New Magna Flow cat back sys..$440 shipped stainless..since my car had a flowmaster,,i have no tips on the exhaust to start with ..but have to say ,,these tail pipes gotta go ,they are fn ugly

will say i was hoping for more quietness,,didnt happen...

I cant tell you how many 3 1/2 inch tips I put on trans ams and camaros when I worked for midas back in the day and they always wanted them 3 inches past the bumper.yours does not look that bad.I like the factory look myself

anyone have ideas or pics what to do with these crappy tail pipes..i may angle cut them,,but i think i really need to just chop them off at teh muffler and do somthing dif..

yup...that's my plan for the 3" ATR system I have to install...stock look but dual S/S 3" tips

I have been to the site...they are pricy but nice and also Pypes Performance Exhaust - Home Page has them in 2 1/2" and 3" $93.45 for a pair.

How was the overall fit of the magnaflow system? Which one did you get?

Good find, wonder how close to our OEM splitters they are ... if anyone gets a pair let us know or post up some dimensions and we can compare.

I have mine angle cut, and tucked in a little. I don't get black on the bumber, and you can really only see it if you look under the car...
