Make a list for a donor car.

Would anyone care to tackle a list of items I would need from a 2005 or newer Chevy 2500hd donor vehicle.

I plan on swapping the 6.0 & 4L80E into my 85 GN. I would like to keep the A/C and cruise control. I would also like to incorporate the factory truck guages and a/c control unit into the dash of the GN if at all possible.

This will be Turbocharged with a PT 75mm of some sort. Details to be hammered out.

Also, if you have any recommendation on the trans x-member, engine mounts, or accessories ie. altenator, power steering pump and rack, and a/c compressor, please don't be shy.

This will be a budget build. However, I am fully aware it costs quite a bit of coin to build a turbo V8. But I was always told " the way you eat an elephant is one bite at a time".

Any one using the 4L80E. Is there a cross member out there or is it build your own on that one.
