Mal code 34 please help!

[T-TYPE 86]

I was driving my buick this weekend and I started going thru the scanmaster and MAL code #34. I checked the scanmaster instructions and it says it's a weak signal to MAF or bad MAF.I checked the connections and they look good.The car seems to run o.k. and responds to changes with the Translator.

My Maf is about a year old and has about 5000 miles.Could it have gone bad

What other connections can I check or is there a way to test the MAF??
