Well I've been trying to get the car ready for the Reynolds event. It's been making a noise in the rear that sounded like the axle bearing and was getting pretty loud. I was planning on putting a wideband setup on the car this weekend. SO, I took the car to my buddy's shop and was gonna let him do the axle bearings since I don't have time and he's got a tig welder to put the o2 bung in the down pipe.

We start looking over the car while it's on the lift and man what a laundry list of problems:

Both axle bearings need replacing. Pinion seal has been leaking, was a quart low on dope. Pinion bearing is in bad shape and there's a tooth off the ring gear.

The tranny mount needs replaced as does the rear tranny seal. Been hearing a pop in the front end from time to time. Checked it out and both front wheel bearings need replaced. The upper ball joints need replacing and the upper control arm bushings are shot, except the one under the down pipe is GONE!

The car sags pretty bad in the front, so I figure go ahead and replace the front coil springs while it's apart.

Was trying to get the little stuff that I thought was all that was wrong so I could test with the wideband this weekend before Reynolds.

BUT, as luck would have it, the wideband that I had Next Day aired was mistakenly left in Louisville KY in stead of here in GA, so it's not here anyway

Oh well, I hope to still have it all done before Reynold's but may miss it again this year. The joy of owning a Turbo Regal.
