Manual Seat To Power Seat

Is it possible to make a manual drivers seat into a power seat. I currently have a power driver's seat but it's not in good condition and I have a chance to buy one is good condition but it's a manual seat. Is it as easy as switching the tracks and the electronics between the seats to make the manual into a power seat?

Its easy to do as long as you have both base cushions...if I understand your dilemna correctly you currently have a good power seat with a bad cushion and have a good manual seat cushion.

The toughest part will be getting the small hole drilled in the side of the metal base that secures the tab for the front long screw that holds the side panel to the seat...the side panel holds your switch. Getting that hole in the proper place.

Everything else bolts up real nice.

You may find once you have your power seat removed where it bolts to the base of your seat cushion could be cracked...many are from drivers getting pushed back in the seat or excessive weight....ad 20 plus years of it and you can se one or both tracks may be cracked at the mounting points.
