Manual seat track

I posted this in the wanted section so I thought that I would give it a try here also. While removing my driver's seat to replace my carpet the power transmission (86 T type) crumbled up into many tiny pieces. I don't know if I should replace the power transmission or just go with a manual track. If anyone has either one of these let me know. Thanks....

The manual seat sits lower and is preferred amongst the bigger TR guys.
