kirban 2 cents worth
I can speak from experience at both ends. Shipping and receiving.
As many of you know I am not a mechanic nor do any real work on my vehicles. All my vehicles are rather rare and are very close to mint condition.
I remember when I first got my 1994 full size Blazer sport. The sport for those of you not famliar with it, is the full size 2 door they made during the 1990s....1994 and up probably the good years.
Anyrate when I bought it, it still had original shocks on it. The guy that works on my vehicles will pick up my vehicle and drive it to his shop. Being in the business I always supply all the parts. If he needs anything he can still get them without calling me.
I got all the bilsteins ahead of time. Never looked at them.
He takes my truck and guess what the fronts are wrong.
So the job gets half done the truck comes back home. I call the company and they tell me they will ship the correct ones and pick up the wrong ones.
So, 2nd pair of fronts. They look like fronts to me so my mechanic takes the truck again....again they are wrong....another time wasted....
Finally on the 3rd time they get it rite....
My point, sometimes owners of mail order companies like myself get items that are wrong.
GM packaging is really getting bad. We just got in 6 of the new Camaro SS engine covers. They put 3 in one box that you could put a small child in with no packing,
2 of them had busted snap on ears that secure it to the engine.
The other 3 in another equally large box where bubble packed perfectly no issues.
(We flame paint them for the Camaro market reason we buy new engine covers).
Errors happen where errors can be a direct issue to your well being is in hospitals.
Everyones goal is to leave out the front door......not the back door exit.
