I have a digital dash so the plug that goes to my dash sensor is the one circled in yellow. The other plug that is included with the stock harness is circled in red. From what I gather, I can just remove the old sensor, put the new 3 bar map sensor in its place, use the plug circled in red and attach that to the new sensor and then splice into the center wire with the lead that goes to the PAC..is there anything wrong with what i just said? Do i still have to tap into the top wire of the TPS for a 5 volt power or will the extra plug in my harness be ok? I dont have a multimeter handy so im going to assume that if i am not sure i could just cut the center wire and run it to the top wire on the TPS for extra assurance since that plug is currently not used.

Second Question

***I read somewhere that its a bad idea to run a Volt Booster with this kit...is that correct? There was one installed on the car when i bought it and i guess what I am asking is, should i remove it.
Thanks for all your help!
Brian

After I posted this i saw the writeup about digital dash as a sticky. So i tore into the area behind the glovebox and couldnt really find a foam covered plug. But i did find what seems to be the wiring that runs to the map sensor plug. This is the wiring with the arrow pointing to it. Is this the correct wire that i must use to attach ground to A, signal to PAC to B, and 5V power to C? otherwise, black to ground, signal to PAC green, and 5V power to gray.

Im sorry if i seem like an idiot, but i just dont feel like screwing with this all night when i know there are people that have run into this same thing and have the answer.
Thanks very much!
Brian

Well the good thing about no one responding is that its allowing me to find the answer on my own which im sure a lot of guys on here like! ;) So just to confirm the second pic i posted is not the correct wiring. But i am hoping that this pic is in fact the foam covered plug and the 3 wires that I am pointing at with the arrow are the wires i need to tap into for the map sensor. they dont come out the other side of the plug so i am pretty sure they are the correct ones. However, i do not plan on cutting any wires off until someone confirms this. :D
Thanks,
brian

Use 3 pin plug for 3 bar MAP

Connect 5v to gray wire at the foam covered plug. You'll notice on that plug that there is a gray, green, and black wire that dont have wires on the other side of plug.

I simply cut the wires at the "foam plug" and run a ground to the black, run the green to the PAC green, and run a jumper from TPS 5v on the ecm to the gray wire.

Dont do any wiring under the hood.

Does this help..

PS.. can the volt booster.

It did help but unfortunately it was too late...I already soldered into the wire at the TPS. Thanks for the answer.

Thats ok. Remember to add the ground to the black wire on the MAP plug.
