Mass air flow sensor question...

i killed my mass air flow sensor with a nitrous backfire at the track last week. having trouble locating one a good used stock one

question 1... are there any other cars with the same sensor that i can scavenge.

q2... are any of the reman'd ones any good..

i tried a new Holley direct replacemment and my car wont run right with it...

q3..any one have one for sale??

any other options??

also the general opinion of reman or repro sensors is a very poor one and most people go with a translator plus lt1 or ls1 maf

do i have to chage over to an 86/87 computer to go with the ls1 maf??? if not i will do that...


Matto i will keep you in mind if this doesn't pan out for me... you into doing a little trading??? i have a set of good year eagle slicks (non wrinkle wall 26/10/15's) with alot of life in them

ran 13.13 @101mph the run befor i blew up my sensor.... then it took me 10 minutes to get to 70 mph hee hee
