Short of a lumberjack swing with a 12 lb. sledge, how do you clearence the passenger side front brace for a V-4 or similar intercooler.
That brace is tough!

I had to weld an extension on mine after making the bend. And yes it takes a healthy swing or a press.
 
Mine fit okay after hitting it with a 3lb. hammer.

Took a while too.

Measure twice hammer often on this one. :eek:
 
I took mine to a Riceburner shop which had a pipe bender small enough to fit the braces. About 5* bend is enough clearance.
 
A BFH and careful figuring will get it right the first time. Worked for me. I had to laugh when some of the guys said that a good swift kick would bend it easily. I don't think so Tim. :)
