MAT sensor

Getting ready to swap out my 84-85 ECM, I wanted to know if the mat sensor is needed how much does adding this help and how Dow I add it??? Any info is greatly appreciated

If you are getting a turbo tweak chip, Eric writes the mat (IAT) out of the chip. It's handy to have when tuning with the powerlogger....but it does nothing for performance. Casper sells a harness with instructions for adding the sensor to a hot air car.

So I have a 5.6 tt chip, the iat and egr is tuned out?
