Max Boost

What is the max boost that a stock motor can take without being damaged to much?

This all depends on so many things. If you have 13psi boost and consistantly get into detonation, it won't last long at all. I have run 25psi on my 85 GN with 0.0 knock...mine has a TA-33, along with a few other goodies, so I don't really consider it "stock". It does have the stock bottom end with 116,xxx miles on it though if that counts for anything.

It doesn't really matter, just as long as you dont get any knock. Make sure that you get a scan tool so you can watch things. BTW, dont run to high of boost with pump gas. Also, i run 16psi with no knock.
