NO GAS...On May 15th 2007
Don't pump gas on may 15th
in April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices.
Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.
On May 15th 2007, all Internet users are to not go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in most places.
There are 73,000,000+ American members currently on the Internet network, and the average car takes about 30 to 50 dollars to fill up.
If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take
$2,292,000,000.00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil company's pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on
May 15th and lets try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least ONE DAY.

I read an article last year that someone wrote on how they thought to deal with the gas issue.
ban the biggest oil company (chevron i think)and buy from the others.this will lower prices when chevron tries to sell gas/fuels at an lower rate?

This is getting old real fast. It seems if the gas price doesn't go up at least every other day something must be wrong. Im paying $$3.19 for 93 right now but was told prices are going up tomorrow like 14 cents more.  This just pi#@$@ me off. Is there a reason for the prices to go from $1.99 in January around here to over 3 bucks a gallon. I agree with MeanBuicks boycott citgo forever. I actually have never bought gas from a citgo station.

I'm hauling my car to the track this weekend and by the time Friday arrives it will probably cost me another ten to fifteen bucks to gas the truck up.

Maybe this is a rumor (probably is) but someone told me if the diesel price surpassed $3.00 a gallon ups and fedex and maybe the truck drivers will boycott it. If that happens that should bring this country to a screeching halt.

Ok I'm done venting now for today. Maybe tomorrow.;)
