Sad to see any track closing but think this may be one of many if the economy doesn't pick up soon. Been watching any of the NASCAR races on TV lately? Looks like there is no one even there at the truck races. Nationwide not much better and even the Cup races have lots of empty seats.
We haven't had a track here in CT in over 20 years and hate to see what would happen if we lost LVD. Closest tracks other than that for us is either Englishtown, traffic nightmare to get to and Epping NH which is quite a trek especially if you don't have a truck and trailer.

Bean to the track only twice. I was shocked to hear it was closing and no NHRA top fuel event will be held there next year

that is probably why Zmax got a second race a year.
Latest news.... Park was valued at 10 million ..... take away the NHRA and the NASCAR events..... track value now estimated at 2.522 million.
