is $175.00 a good deal for vp methanol?1 drum had been opened and used,the other has been opened just to put the toplube in.how long is it good for before it starts to go bad?thanks

Comes out to $3.78/gallon Not a great deal.

I don't think alcohol goes bad per say, but it is VERY hydroscopic. Meaning it takes on moisture from the air. Containers need to be tightly sealed as best as possible.
