Whats up Claude! Did you see it! I think the T/A is asking to get lumped up at Lebanon Valley next Saturday! I've already spoken to Jack tonight..... Let's see if we can't get something put together! I know I have my shifter problem all fixed now. Let's see if he can remember to turn his bottle on! Or maybe he's worried that a "turbo" car might beat his "nitrous car" Let's see what 30 psi will do!

Mike

My 8 year old son yelled " DAD THERES A Grand National '6' ON THAT GUYS BACK"

Was awesome....

Looked like one heck of a ride on the rev limiter...

Like I said before, you were outperformed by the Shifter

I saw it tonight. I was real excited to see a GN make the field!!!

Congrats on being picked.

What time was it on? It is usually on @ 6pm Central here and instead of Pinks there was some road race going on.

John

take his nitrious runnin ass out. thought he was a big man "i took out the turbo car" if you didn't have shifting problems it was obvious you had him.

Pretty cool and a guy from my town won it all with his Duster. Drives it on the street too.

Win or lose, it's always good to see a GN on TV.

Mike, it was nice chatting with you at the event. They picked a "nightmare" class that day according to Wayne Paul.

p.s. How's that window net holding up?

Thank's everyone! I was really proud to represent the Buick community. It really was an awesome time. Win or lose. It was surreal to watch it all on tv. Especially when they panned to the in car camera and the car was bouncing off the rev limiter! Whatcha gonna do, it's all apart of racing. It was cool to have Jack's suit on with the big turbo 6 on the back of it! If it weren't for Jack I would have never gotten that far. There were some many variables that he got together at the end for me. It was like having an angel on your shoulder!

Thank's Chuck, it was nice talking to you to. We finally did get that window net in at the buick event down in E-town.
You know they busted my chops about not having a window net but I am not sure if anyone elese noticed but one of the Mustang guys clearly had no window net and they let him run that way!

My heart just sanked when I see your car mess up, grrrrrr thats racing though lol, win some, lose some. Was still great seeing your car on there though !! Looks very nice and CLEAN. Have you guys noticed that when they do have a GN on there Rich always says sweet, nice, etc. I think we have a fan in him lol. Daniel Ray

Hi Michael!...Yes I saw and even recorded it!.. ...Too bad though, that we did not get to see you more!...
Jack told me that he was thinking of coming to race at Napierville next weekend (Oct the 11th or 12th)...Maybe you could also come down?...That would surely be great!...

Keep in touch,

take care,

Claude.

Michael,
Congrats for making the field. My wife, the kids and I were cheering for ya. You did a great job driving and had that Pontiac covered , thats a fact. Congrats again!

That was pretty cool. My son was going nuts "DAD, DAD, Dad ,Look that guy has a GrandNational logo on his coat, Look Dad, look, did you see that?"

The Colalillo family was all pulling for you. You killed that guy right from the start. It was exciting to watch. Congrats on making the field, that is a huge accomplishment in itself.

I bet having Jack there really made you feel comfortable. I know you guys had just finished up the car before the event. Everybody has to work out the kinks when you modify them that much.

Congrats on making the show.

I just knew you were going to win, then i heard that rev limiter.

At least you got to be part of the show! Thats a dream of mine that i hope to fulfill someday.

Enjoyed seeing you represent us all well. Rich likes the Mopars but as a viewer for many years, I know the PINKS staff likes to see diversity in the field with cars other than Chevy and Ford so they all have a weakness and liking for the underdogs.

Thanks guys, I really do appreciate it. I dvr'd it too and I keep on going over and over it again. That comment just got under my skin, and Jack's too. I just hope I get my chance against that T/A again. He was posting on Jack's board on the Pinks update thread and I asked him if he was busy next Saturday and that Lebanon Valley sounded good to me....I have yet to hear a reply. Maybe he doesn't check it everyday. We'll see. Regardless I will be ready this time. With my boost controller turned up!

Thank's to the Colalillo family! Like I said above, I just keep watching it over and over again. I had him... But at least I had the opportunity and we all loved every minute of it.

I can't say it enough, Jack was unbelievable. To have him in my corner was a real ace for me. He was by my side the whole time. I really can't thank him and his family enough.

BTW that shifter I had installed when I had my transmission done at another shop. I unfortunelty assumed that it was ok. A couple of times previous to that day it happened also, I thought maybe it was me. I checked the linkage on the trans and the nut was loose. I thought that was it. I tightened it. But it happened again at the Buick meet down at E-town. That's when Brian and Adam jacked it up in the pits and found the wrong detent was on the shifter! They adjusted so it worked. It worked flawlesy after that! (that's the day I made my license runs and ran the 9.65) I haven't been out to the track since. I can't wait to see what she'll do in the cold air now with some more boost!
