Get one at your local parts store. A starter for a 93-97 LT1 f body will work just fine. I seem to remember 323-488 as the reman Delco number. Mine even came with the correct bolts. If not, you will need new bolts. The LT1 unit is a gear reduction type that has to be less than half the weight of the oem unit. Thanks, Counterman.

correct... may or may not need new bolts... as long as the stockers don't bottom out in the block, you're ok.....
