Minivan Hard start in the morning

Hello all,

My minivan has been giving me a hard time starting..only the first start in the morning. Turning over fine, battery strong. New cap and rotor. It is a Pontiac Transport with a 3.1 litre. The weather has been damp and relatively warm recently here.

Any ideas??

Does it have 7 injectors??

It may have a timer/temp switch that screws with the amount of fuel delivered when cold. My Toyota Supra's had a 7th injector and a "Cold start injector timer switch". It would be closed when cold and activate the 7th inj and when it heated up (the car) it would shut it down (the injector)

I am not sure if this helps at all, I hope it does.
