Well me and jadams want out tonight to test the car with some slicks and new reducer, the car was flying and spinning the slicks all the way down the road. I stoped and heated the tire because they were a little hard from setting and it started to back fire some.

I let off and my oil light came on for a min then want away, i stoped up the road and it was mising bad and found 20psi on fuel press, out of cam2 i guess. Stoped and put gas in and it ran fine, tell about 3 miles down the road then it started to mis again when i would tap the gas. The car dies at idle if i touch the gas at all.

What now, it seems to run fine when it cools down but when it heats up it starts all this crap, could it be the o2 sensor and make it run that bad. Or will exhust leaks do this.

my car acted just like that once, it was the fuel pump! (ended up changing it in a parking lot!)

Aaaannndddd, since your only getting 20psi fuel pressure...

ok i got some batt for the scan tool and started the car tonight , it seems my voltage light has been right, it was only 10.8volts when i started the car on the scan tool. I also checked it with my meter and the same 10.8 it was reading. With in 4 min the voltage was 8 volt and i tap the gas and it trys to die and small back fires. it reads 8volts at the bolt on the alt to ground and at the batt , so it should be the alt right .

This will be the 3 rd alt this year.

well the batt is dead now and it wont even start. new alt is 69.00. :(

hot airs eat alt's up I just started getting voltage regulaters for them (about $10) at autozone and open up the alt and change it.(not hard to do)

or buy alt with lifetime warranty
