I recently changed my combo from a ta49, 009s, stock intercooler, 2800 stall, and diy alky. I went with a te45a, GN performance front mount, motortron 60s, razors alky, maf translator, and precision 3400 stall. I was having problems with the 60s running lean no matter what I did, so I put the 009s back in and put the old chip back in. Now I am able to control the o2s with the fp or the translator. My previous best was 11.97@115 with a 2.3 60ft. on 21psi. This past weekend I took the car to the track, and the best I managed was a 12.7@108 with a 2.1 60ft on 23psi. Where did all my power go? Is my combo mismatched? Could the chip being burned for the ta49, 2800 stall, and diy alky being causing the problem?

But your mixture problems are solved, correct?? My own two-bit opinion: either the chip or you need to open up the heads and/or intake.

That's definitely down on power. You should be trapping in the 119+mph range with that amount of boost and a good tune. Any Direct Scan files??

I don't have direct scan, but I plan to get it. Kevin, the o2s are now in the normal range. o2s were in the 770-780s with no knock.

O2's are important, but all you are seeing is that the A/F should be close at those levels. There is much more to look at when tuning these cars correctly. You really need the ability of Direct Scan to record the run and look at the graphs of all the parameters.

IMHO, with the upgrades you are listing to the car you are just wasting your time at the track by not having the total/proper information available to make correct/confident adjustments.

Like mentioned before you are way down on power for one reason or many reasons. There's only one way to find out... Valuable information!! We've built many bolt-on cars with much less "power making" components that have run 7.3's @ 96+mph in the 1/8mi. and 11.4's @ 119+mph or better. Not trying to bragg or anything... Just trying to show you how much potential your car can have.

Are you using a scanmaster? I noticed something about mine that bothers me. I can jump on it, go through a couple gears, then come to a stop and hit the recall button...it will show say, .7 or 1 degree of KR. Now if I get back out there and jump on it again, this time watching the scanmaster, the KR will be as high as 5-7 degrees, and it stays there as long as Im on it. I'll roll to a stop, hit the recall, and it only shows .7-1 degree KR....sometimes nothing. WTF is this all about? Isnt it supposed to record the highest number you reach? I think its always behaved this way. I'm wondering if maybe you're seeing more KR than the scanmaster is showing at the end of the pass...if you are running a scanmaster.
You could have a transitional A/F problem when the Alky kicks in. At what boost does the alky turn on? What are your rpm's through the traps? Does the tranny feel solid? Is your exhaust, pre-O2 sensor completely leak free? Maybe you should slap the car on a dyno and get a better look at what's happening. they will be able to calculate slip through the tranny and converter, look at the A/F...and if they know how, you can even calculate drivetrain power loss. Have you jacked up all the wheels and tried to spin them to check for dragging brakes?
You should post your rpm through the traps, your 1/8 mile trap and ET.
