Use a piece with all the springs. if you have it. This is a modification not recommended by Bruce @ PTS but used by others.

Did something wrong, this was supposed to be tagged onto the forward piston thread.

What are you talking about? I only reccommend using all the springs in both drums. I don't understand what I do not reccommend....

the question was about which to use aluminum or steel piston in a brf and or if it matters if you use the full return spring pack or the one with every other one in the fwd drum.
