Mobil1 filter with regular oil?

yeah,but i wouldn't bother.there was huge debate about oil filters a couple years ago,and a guy here on the board actually tested them all.the consensus was the purolator pure one is the filter to use.
btw,a lot of it had to do with a properly functioning anti-drainback valve.not all filters have them,and some that do don't work very well.

actually,i think pf52 is the delco #,just cross it over in the book.you'll recognize it,it looks just like the little stocker except it's longer.

it looks like your mobil1 filter does pretty well,but $$$
.i'm pretty sure it was david chase that did a test on the anti-drainback valves on a bunch of filters and ac delco and pure1 filters came out on top.
