module/coil pack???

I have a question for the module/coil pack gurus - I have a 85 gn converted to a i/c car.Brand new motor in it. I have 300 miles on it and decided to turn up the boost a little bit. now when I am accelerating(not under boost) it is breaking up on me. I have ur5 ngk plugs gapped at .30 . I have 8mm wires and a stock coil and module. Any tips hints or suggestions on where I need to look? I have put a brand new coil on it and it isnt poppin as much but still poppin. Do I need to buy a new module or what?
