Anybody know of a site that has a list of mortgage rates from different banks? A massive comparison instead of searching bank by bank.

Thanks.

lendingtree.com might. Or cnn.com in the financial section might as well. I know there is one but can't remember which one it is for sure. Try those for now.

Whatever you do, do it now. Rates are shooting up like crazy. I've had 2 rate increases a day from some lenders. Started last Thursday and hasn't let up. You can still do very well, but don't put it off. Shop, shop, shop. Rates as well as associated fees. Especially the origination & discount points. Call local brokers, they have access to different lenders and can shop it for you. I haven't seen a good online loan yet, but they may be out there.

I redid mine last week, down from 7.25

5.37 for 15years (no points or fees)

Be careful about hidden fees.

Stock market affect things on a daily basis. Watch the bonds, if they're improving significantly, it's a pretty good (not exact) barometer for what rates will do. Monthly economic reports have a lot to do with it to.
