Alright people heres what we have ,,,, 1 87 block std bore 10. 10.crank buick pistons , sealed power chrome rings, clemex bearings,,, dont laugh there mexican clevite bearings,,kb modified oil pan,, new cover just installed hv oil kit ,,,stock gaskets with head studs,,,,kb big valve headsw1.77I,,,stock headers gasket matched,,,84 intakeport matched no egr,,had an kbcam with 4 flat lobs lots of duration in there,,just got all the stuff back from the machine shop and need to know some stuff ,, should i gut the bottom of the intake runners our will that put the power band way up there (shifting at 5500), and the car also has a kb turbo thats smoked ,,,what turbo should i be looking at im thinking t60 maybe,,this car does not see street use okay sometimes but its not my daily or weekly car,, just wondering what other stuff i should be looking at for power making, dont want the intercooler route,,,,i want the fastest hot air car ,, i like being the underdog ,,,plus it looks slower w/o the intercooler for the i need 50 spots race they seem to do around here.. should i stick with the kb cam our should i get nasty with the cam ,, p.s. i did,nt buy all the kb stuff its was already on there when i got it,,, also i was selling the car for 2500 till i pulled the heads off then decided to keep it after i found the complete kb catalog thrown in the motor..ssome one give me some cam,injectors etc etc for this combo,, oh im lokking for low 11 maybe????
