I just bought a 1989 turbo TA. The person i bought the car from had the boost set at 22 pounds, and the motor was nocking under full boost. I adjusted the boost back down to the stock setting, and the motor was still nocking. I adjusted the boost down to 14 and the motor does not nock anymore.
I was wondering why the car would nock at the stock boost level.
The car has a seventh injector( which enrichens at 10 psi), a pitbull chip, and a down pipe. Iwas even running 100 octane fuel.
If somebody could give me some advice i would greatly appreciate it.
