i picked up an 85 t type as a parts car. it has motor and trans and im wondering if any parts from either are interchangeable with the intercooled engines? could some of the parts be used to build an intercooled engine, or are they completely different? or would that be a waste of time and money all togethr?

block and heads are just about all that will interchange.
the block will need a turbo oil return drain hole drilled.


Edit the trans will work with the 86-87 stuff.
