A section of straight pipe the length of a typical muffler, rated at the same test pressure as a carb (10.5 inches of mercury), flows about 115 cfm per square inch. Given this flow rating, we will see about 560 cfm from a 2.5-inch pipe.

I wish you all luck getting 1133cfm out of your ultraflows ;).

I want to order the ultra flows from Jegs, but I don't want to get the wrong ones for the hooker catback system. Can somebody help me out before I order the wrong ones? Thank you,

I have the race magnum welded muffler, that's what jegs calls it anyway. Dynomax calls it ultraflow welded performance muffler. Same sh*t. the part # for jegs is
289-17219 Race Magnum Welded Muffler
In/Out: 2-1/2''
Body Length: 14''

$69.99

Thanks, good luck with your "chambered" mufflers :)
The bottom line is as long as you're happy with them, then more power to you.

just my guess, but since the Hooker is 18" and glass pack(straight through) style verses the Dynomax's extra inch and turbo(baffled) design that the Hooker's flow would be higher.
