multi port injection

Hi everyone, i was sent here from my street rod site. Ive got a guy I work with that has a 88 olds toronado V6 with multi port injection. He says car runs great till it gets to norm temp. then he can hardly get it home. He so far has replaced the O2 sensor, he also replace the throttle position sensor but is not sure he set it correctly. Is there some place (site) i can go to find out how the set the throttle position sensor and also the idle motor. Ive got a 37 ford with a vette engine and I did my own TpI unit so I remember thsese items and there probably close to the same. I cant seam to find my set up sheet. Any help also where can I get a wiring diagram for that car so we can see where all the grounds are for the injection stuff. OH yea he also replaced the temp sender, two wires, not the guage.

It kind of sounds like the mass air flow sensor is bad.

Is there an SES light? If so check the codes.

Just a thought here: That car has a 3800 v6, right? A friend had that motor in his Bonneville. and he had an upper intake leak that was seeping in coolant to the intake. Worth a check to see if he's losing coolant.
