Here are a list of the parts I have on the car. If anyone knows anything please contact me thru this forum or PM me. Also if you are selling anything beware. Do not give out any info to anyone and meet them somewhere other than your house. Police station would be a good place. When they call you, if they are a serious buyer tell them you will call back. The suspect who may or may not have stole my car has a trac fone that is not being answered and was suppose to come out to my house a couple times then the car is stolen. Was a coincidence. So here it is:

Standard bore TRW pistons
Stock GN connecting rods
8445 cylinder heads with dual SBC valve springs fully ported stock heads with larger
valves by Precision Turbo

Turbonetics T-62 Turbocharger

Sorry to hear that, more importantly pictures of the car and VIN #. Where are you located and where was it stolen from?

Well the m&a intake isn't a common thing to see anymore. That will make under the hood stick out pretty good.

It would take a few weeks by the police.but track where that number was at night.....gps...

86 stolen

It was stolen from Oxford, MI. You're right about that intake. If whomever stole it can figure out how to get the intake off then their best bet is too junk it. Since I have the removal tool - good luck. Also the Bob Bailey anti-theft in the Extender chip will cause an issue with starting.

Damn dude. Sorry to hear that. It's a sweet car. I'll keep my eyes out. Was it insured?

Damn that sucks. How you get it back or catch the slime.

look at all them amazing buicks

Thanks a lot. I appreciate everyone keeping an eye out. It's sort of a weird car to steal. We all go to the same places to purchase items for it and go to Grand National gatherings and even if you don't know who is who you sort of have an idea of who has what car.

The car is fully insured but of course there are some complications. The claims guy appears to be questioning me about an 86 Regal being insured for so much. I told him you need to do some research and realize it is not just a regal. It's like telling a guy with a 87 GNX his Regal isn't worth a whole lot. Well maybe a little different but I think you know what I am getting at.

So here is the part that I find humorus. The cop and the claims guy both asked the same question. Where is the glass on the ground? I said, "what?" Reply from cop "usually there is glass on the ground" I said it is a frameless glass window that is sealed off by a 25 year old piece of window molding. I could pull back that window and wedge a 2 x 4 in there. As we all know a small child with a coat hanger could break in the car.

Mark you are correct. There are plenty of parts in that car that came from you. Remflex gaskets, license plate frame, 4" wide mouth thru fender cold air intake, and many badges. Thanks for great service over the years.

Why was this thread posted in "Parts for sale", instead of "Stolen Buick Information Exchange/VIN Check" ?!?....

I did not know there was such an area for posting things. I would think that parts would be an ideal place to put it since people will more than likely see it and NOT want to purchase stolen parts since that is as good as stealing them yourself in the eyes of the law.......

That really sucks, i hope they find it but every day passing makes it more doubtful. Dont let the claims adjusterscrew you over either.

you could probably request that they have a specialty appraiser price your car...i know that when mine got wrecked the insurance company did that so i got what my car was worth...idk if it works the same way when it gets stolen, but just thought id let you know that insurance companies do have particular people that appraise classic cars

They are bringing in some "outside source" to help appraise the car based on the pics, bluebook value, and list of items attached to the car. Currently.... Grading the performance of State Farm would be less than satisfactory. I am being patient but they continue to extend the appraisal again and again. They didn't hesitate to pull the funds from my account for Septembers bill on a car that I no longer have. Oh by the way the extensions are so "law enforcement can do their job". Next Wednesday will be one month.

So hopefully something happens next week and restores my faith with the State Farm people again.

To the ******* that stole my car YOU SUCK!

i have state farm as well...they were the ones i had when mine got totaled...they did really well as far as appraising the car, although it may have been because the lady that blew the red light and crashed into me also had state farm and she was clearly at fault, and since my silly father didnt put collision on the car like i insisted, we only got half of what it was appraised for since there were no eye witnesses to confirm my story over hers. they did believe me though...so all things considered, maybe the circumstances called for their generous appraisal but they did do good by me and i had state farm, hopefully you have a similar experience as far as the appraisal goes. Good luck!

was this car ever recovered?... how rare is that turbo 6 logo on the ash tray cover?.. came across a fishy 87'gn with A code VIN in WI..Supposedly from TX 2yrs ago...Has the same logo on center console..
